Barbara Lamb

Born in Ulverston, Cumbria, Barbara moved to the North-east to begin a teaching career. Having always had a desire to paint, it was not until 2000 that Barbara put brush to canvas.

Inspired by Richmond's history, people and traditions, she began to paint in her own, unmistakable style. The quirkiness of the paintings combined with the bright colours are proving a successful combination reflecting her personality and sense of humour.

Barbara's work is exhibited in Richmond and is now sought after for private collections.
